Drinking lots of fluids will help prevent heat exhaustion and will keep you cool and energized. This is especially important if you are hanging out at the beach where the UV index is high. We suggest hitting up one of the many delicious fruit stands In Cabarete and stocking up on fresh coconuts. Coconut water is full of vitamins and minerals and is literally the BEST thing you can drink while in the tropics to stay hydrated. Find yourself a nice spot in the shade on a lounge chair, surround yourself by a mountain of fresh coconuts and relax!
