We want your vacation to be carefree and relaxing, so we offer the guests of Villa Taina Hotel beachfront yoga classes in our loft above our Serenade Restaurant. Our morning classes are lead by the talented water woman and previous Master Of The Ocean Champion, Audrey Meyer. Our sunset classes will be taught by the talented and experienced Bhakti and Seba. This means all of our classes are carefully put together by experts. Our classes consist of:
ELDOA (Longitudinal Osteoarticular Decoaptation Stretches, is taken from the French Etirements Longitudinaux avec Decoaptation Osteo-Articulaire).
Strengthen your core and increase flexibility with some ELDOA Myofascial Stretching. Low impact class. Suitable for all levels and ages.
An incredible method for enhancing performance, managing/preventing injury, and improving musculoskeletal and cardiovascular health for all.
The Vinyasa class uses long-held poses that smoothly and slowly flow into one another. This is the most athletic yoga style.
Every Friday of the month we offer a different style of class. See each one below:
- 1st – Pranayama – Practice of controlling the breath through techniques and poses.
- 2nd – Singing Bowl Meditation – A range of sounds used for healing and meditation that restore the frequencies of diseased and out of sync parts of the body, mind and soul.
- 3rd – Chakra Based Practices – There are 7 chakras located throughout the body and each one has specific functions. This class uses yoga postures to cleanse, balance, and open the chakras.
- 4th – Yin Yoga/Restorative Yoga – Uses poses that are held for long periods of time to stretch the tissue surrounding the joints and to bring calmness to the mind.
Classes are suitable for all levels with a choice of difficulty for each pose.
Fitness at Villa Taina Hotel
A vacation is the perfect time for a kickstart that new fitness regime and we like to keep it easy. Our on site gym is packed with the latest equipment like a cable crossover system, a variety of free weights, benches, mats, cycling machines and most importantly air conditioning. Our guests can enjoy all of this for free whilst gazing out the window to the ocean. If you need a little more motivation, our body fit classes with Audrey are ideal! Designed to increase core strength, stability and agility with dynamic movements so you can be the strongest, fittest and healthiest version of you! These classes are suitable for all levels and ages as the intensity can easily be tailored to you.

The 10:30 am drop-in class price is $15 USD
The 6 pm drop-in class price is $10 USD
